I didn’t say that the monument of Jose Rizal should be turned around. I don’t know where that came from. What I just said was that it’s about time we put our history in the right perspective while we’re addressing the issue about the monument. That’s because I represent the district where Rizal Park and Torre de Manila are located. Why do you have the monument facing Manila Bay when, based on history, Rizal turned around to face the firing squad when he was executed?
