6-vehicle pileup on Edsa injures 1, causes heavy traffic
One person was injured following a six-vehicle pileup on Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (Edsa) on Thursday morning.
Emma Lorista of the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) told INQUIRER.net that the accident occurred at the northbound lane of Edsa-Quezon Avenue at 6:57 a.m.
Lorista said the accident involved a car, two sports utility vehicles (SUV), a taxi, an Asian utility vehicle (AUV), and a motorcycle.

She said the motorcycle driver was injured and was immediately brought to a nearby hospital.
She said only one lane is passable as of posting causing traffic in the area.
She added that the collision area has not been cleared yet as the SUV and the motorcycle are still in the area while the other vehicles have been towed already.
Police are now investigating what caused the accident, she said. IDL
