PNP members get half of 13th month pay
The Philippine National Police (PNP) has released P1.9 billion for the first half of the 13th month pay of its 155,000 uniformed and non-uniformed personnel.
Active members of the Philippine National Police received the pay last Friday. The other half will be released in December.
Senior Superintendent Bartolome Tobias, PNP spokesperson, however, said that the release of bonuses to PNP members with pending administrative and criminal cases would be deferred “as an administrative policy.”
The DC released a total of P1,933,664,893.50 through the PNP Finance Service, which credited the amount to the individual ATM payroll accounts of PNP members.
Chief Superintendent Roberto Aliggayu, director of the PNP Finance Service, said PNP members who were not yet enrolled in the ATM payroll system would receive checks through the Regional Finance Service Offices.
