MANILA, Philippines – MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino on Monday said three cranes have been rushed to the crash area in Pasay City to clear up a road that was blocked by a fallen girder launcher of the Skyway 3 project.

Five cars were crushed by the collapsed 180-ton concrete beam lifter but no casualties were reported so far.

A portion of Andrews Avenue was shut down following the accident and the MMDA has warned of heavy traffic going to the three airports – Naia 1, Naia 2 and Naia 3.
