Pagasa: Northeast monsoon to bring light rains in Luzon
MANILA, Philippines — The northeast monsoon in Luzon will bring light rains on the country’s main island, the state weather bureau said Wednesday.
Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos region, Central Luzon, Calabarzon and Bicol region will experience cloudy skies with light rains, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
The rest of the country, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains or thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds coming from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and the eastern section of Visayas and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough, Pagasa said.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast with slight to moderate seas.
