3 Bilibid officials relieved

MANILA, Philippines–Bureau of Corrections Director Franklin Jesus Bucayu on Friday confirmed that three ranking prison officials have been relieved from their post.

Bucayu said he signed the order relieving New Bilibid Prison Superintendent Roberto Rabo, NBP Operations Chief Celso Bravo and Davao Penalty head, Superintendent Venancio Tesoro.

The order will take effect Monday.

The three officials reportedly signed the documents allowing the entry of prohibited items and gadgets inside the state prison.
