UP Manila announces half-day work, classes on October 31

MANILA, Philippines―University of the Philippines Manila (UPM) chancellor Manuel B. Agulto announced Tuesday that afternoon classes and work would be suspended on October 31.

In a post on its official Facebook account, Agulto said that classes and work in the university will end at 12 p.m. on October 31.

He said that the suspension of work for the Philippine General Hospital is still subject to the approval of PGH director Jose Gonzales.

The University of Santo Tomas has earlier announced that classes in the university will be suspended from October 30 to November 3 in observance of the All Saints’ Day and All Souls Day.
