6 nabbed in Valenzuela shabu lab raid―reports

MANILA, Philippines―At least six Chinese nationals were arrested in the raid of a suspected illegal drug laboratory in Ricon Industrial Subdivision in Valenzuela City, radio reports said.

A representative from the Valenzuela City Police was quoted in the reports as saying that the drug laboratory could produce 15 kilos of shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) each day.

Police are currently conducting an inventory of shabu paraphernalia found in the laboratory.

Authorities are yet to report the value of the seized shabu.
