Alleged owner of 350-ha estate to return to PH soon, says Binay

MANILA, Philippines – The owner of the 350-hectare agricultural estate in Batangas will return to the country to face the unscrupulous politicians, Vice President Jejomar Binay said in an interview Friday.

“Makukuryente yung mga yun. Galit na galit ho ang may-ari dahil sa pagbibintang na iyon. Yung halaga ng kanilang korporasyon naaapektuhan,” Binay said, referring to his accusers.

Quoting the alleged owner whom he did not identify, Binay said the owner, who is abroad, told him to wait for his return.

“Haharapin ko kayong mga unscrupulous politicians,” Binsay said still quoting the owner.

Binay repeatedly denied that he owned the property, saying he only rented a part of it for his piggery, reported to be airconditioned, but that he divested himself of his share when he won the vice presidency in 2010.
