MANILA, Philippines—The trough of a low pressure area affecting western Luzon is expected to bring rain particularly to Zambales and Bataan provinces, the weather bureau said on Thursday.

In its early-morning bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the two Luzon provinces will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms on Thursday.

The Pagasa bulletin added that Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.
