MANILA, Philippines–The low pressure area (LPA) affecting the country has not dissipated, but will continue to bring light to moderate rain to Metro Manila and parts of Luzon and Visayas on Monday, the weather bureau said.

The LPA on Monday morning was spotted 140 kilometers west of Laoag City, according to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

Pagasa said Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley, Ilocos, Central Luzon, Mimaropa (Occidental and Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan provinces) and Samar are expected to have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.
