Aquino: 2.5M Filipinos able to improve lives via CCT program

MANILA, Philippines – President Benigno Aquino III  in his fifth State of the Nation Address (SONA) said 2.5 million Filipinos were able to uplift themselves from poverty from 2013.

He credited his flagship program the Conditional Cash Transfer as having contributed to his government’s fight against poverty.
