Majority of Filipinos still content with Aquino—INQUIRER.net poll

MANILA, Philippines—As the fifth State of the Nation Address of President Benigno Aquino III commences, most Filipinos still believe that the Chief Executive has shown his bright luster over them for the past four years.

In an unofficial online poll by INQUIRER.net, out of 27,485 Filipinos, 10,073 Pinoys or 36.65 percent look at the leadership skills of Aquino as “very good” while another 8,722 or 31.73 percent  believe that the Chief Executive has been “excellent” at his job.

Amidst the controversies surrounding the Disbursement Acceleration Program that led to his multiple impeachment complaints, the president known as PNoy has still has endured to the populace with 18,795 giving him some pretty favorable reviews.

Only 6,485 people or 23.59 percent looked at a “poor” showing from Aquino.

Others, though, may not be too confident with their President but they still gave some positive reviews with 1,410 voters or 5.13 percent voting good and 795 people or 2.89 percent giving a “fair” grade.
