Monsoon rains affect Palawan in ‘Glenda’’s wake
MANILA, Philippines—In the midst of the onslaught of Typhoon “Glenda,” southwest monsoon rains or “Habagat” is affecting Palawan on Wednesday, the country’s weather bureau said.
Starting at 1:50 p.m., the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said “habagat” has affected Palawan.
Pagasa said moderate to heavy rains persisted within three hours.
In its latest weather bulletin issued 5 p.m., the Pagasa said ‘Glenda’ was spotted at 160 kilometers west of Zambales at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
