Man dies after getting electrocuted while installing cable connection
MANILA, Philippines — A man allegedly tapping illegal electrical connection at Bambang, Tondo, Manila, was electrocuted Tuesday morning.
A witness who requested anonymity said Eduardo Angor, 43, usually tapped illegal connections. But on a rainy morning on Tuesday, he was installing a cable connection.
It took at least an hour for Angor’s lifeless body to be taken down the pole by Meralco crewmen.
His body was taken to Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center. The Philippine Daily Inquirer tried to get the side of the family but they refused to comment on the matter.
Angor’s sister Evelyn, who last saw him alive at around 7 a.m., signed a waiver on police investigations Tuesday morning.
