Shamcey Supsup honored in ticker-tape parade in Makati’s business district

MANILA, Philippines–The Makati City government organized a ticker-tape parade for Miss Universe third runner-up Shamcey Supsup along the city’s business strip, Ayala Avenue, Monday afternoon.

Employees from the skyscrapers lining the avenue rained confetti on the parade.

The beauty queen went around Metro Manila on her second day home after the representing the country in the prestigious pageant last week.

She visited the Makati High School where she finished her high school and graduated salutatorian in 2003.

The motorcade started from the Araneta Center in Cubao, Quezon City and proceeded to the Quezon City Hall, the University of the Philippines Campus, Cainta City Hall, and the Makati High School.
Supsup was an honor student in UP Diliman, graduating magna cum laude.  She topped the architecture licensure exams last year.
