Man dies in fall from 18th floor of QC condo building

MANILA, Philippines — A young man died after falling from the 18th floor of a condominium building on Thursday afternoon in Quezon City.

Initial reports named the victim as Justin Tuquid, 26, a resident of Speaker Perez Street in Barangay (village) Lourdes.

Tuquid fell at around 2:50 p.m. Thursday at the Futurepoint Plaza 3 building at the corner of Panay Avenue and Scout Borromeo Streets.

Quoting initial information, Police Officer 2 Alvin Quisumbing, the case investigator, said the victim was seen falling off from the 18th floor of the building.

The victim fell on the roof of a four-story building adjacent to the condominium.

It was still unclear as to what Tuquid was doing inside the building. As of posting time, authorities had yet to retrieve the body from the roof.
