Militia found dead

A militiaman abducted a day earlier by a group of armed men was found dead, riddled with bullet wounds, on Saturday in Barangay Lidong, Presentacion town, police said.

Senior Supt. Primo Golingay, police provincial director, on Monday said the body of Oscar Cuadro, 25, a member of the Citizens Armed Forces Geographical Unit under the Army’s 22nd Infantry Battalion, was found at 8 a.m. in Sitio Buhang.

Initial investigation showed that Cuadro was abducted by around 15 armed men at 3 p.m. on Friday while he was attending a fiesta in Lidong. Golingay said investigators from the Army and police were investigating the killing. Shiena Barrameda, Inquirer Southern Luzon
