Woman hit by stray bullet

A 28-YEAR-OLD woman was wounded after she was hit by a stray bullet in barangay Tisa, Cebu City,  Friday afternoon.

Karen Hibaya, 28, was wounded in the body.

Police said the bullet  came from a gun fired by Ricardo Lanawan, 40.

Police said Lanawan and Hubert Amparado, son of the former’s live-in partner Cecile Amparado, argued outside Hibaya’s house.

During the argument, Lanawan hit Hubert with a stone then drew a gun and fired at him.

Hubert was not hit. The bullet instead hit his neighbor Hibaya who was inside her house.

Responding police arrested Lanawan./CORRESPONDENT CHITO O. ARAGON
