Lawyer’s SUV forcibly taken

/ 09:45 PM September 17, 2011

Car thieves struck anew in Makati City at around 3 a.m. Saturday and forcibly took a lawyer’s sports utility vehicle, police said.

Senior Insp. Ferdinand Satorre, head of the Makati Police anticarnapping unit, said five armed men sped away with the dark blue Toyota Fortuner (ZMR 243) of lawyer Louie Brian Sze, 26, who parked it in front of his friend’s house along Mayor Street.

Prior to the incident, Satorre said Sze, a resident of San Antonio Village, Pasig City, was in a convoy with his friend, Daiza Anne Ong, 28, also a lawyer, whose car was not taken.

“He (Sze) just accompanied her (Ong) home when the suspects attacked,” Satorre said. Tina G. Santos
