7 hurt in AUV-bus collision in Quezon
MANILA, Philippines – At least seven people were injured after a passenger bus collided with an Asian utility vehicle (AUV) along Maharlika highway in Tiaong, Quezon early Saturday, a radio report said.
The report said the accident happened around 4:00 a.m. in barangay (village) Lusacan in Tiaong.
The seven injured, it added, were from the AUV (XEF-552) after the Bicol-bound Isarog bus (TYZ 653) hit the left side of the AUV.
Police report said the Isarog bus heading from Manila hit the AUV that was traveling on the opposite direction.
Injured passengers were immediately brought to the hospital for medication while the bus driver was brought to the Tiaong Police Station for investigation.
On Thursday, at least three people died while 25 were hurt after a JAM liner collided with a truck in Maharlika Highway in Tiaong, Quezon.
