Mike Velarde visits Gloria Arroyo

MANILA, Philippines—El Shaddai leader Mike Velarde on Wednesday visited former President now Pampanga Representative Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center.

Atty. Ferdinand Topacio, one of the counsels of Arroyo, said it was a personal visit saying the two knew each other for a very long time.

He said they talked about Arroyo’s mother who even told the El Shaddai leader to look after his daughter.

The two, he said, also prayed for Mrs. Arroyo’s health and that justice for the string of cases she is facing.

“She likes these kinds of visits. It uplifts her spirit,” he said.

The two also talked about the love story of Bro. Mike and his wife Belen. The two will celebrate their 30th anniversary this July.

Former Justice Secretary Agnes Devanadera, Atty. Larry Gabon and Dr. Antonio Calanoc also visited Mrs. Arroyo Wednesday.
