That 50-centavo increase in the minimum fare for jeepney without the approval of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) is illegal. Transport groups are advised to adhere to the present jeepney fare duly promulgated by our office. —LTFRB Chair Winston Ginez
