Army scores ‘3-peat’ in Seasports fest

The Philippine Army won the men’s open plum for the third straight year while the Philippine Coast Guard and the Air Force dominated the dragon boat races for the women’s small boat and mixed open categories in the 2014 Manila Bay Seasports Festival.

Boatmen from San Fabian, Pangasinan province, and Boracay, Aklan, also won first place in the stock and formula races of the motorized banca competition, with pilots Alwin Estacio on the vessel “Patricia” and Ryan Isiderio on the “Matador”  ruling the waters.

The Manila Bay Seasports Festival was presented by Manila Broadcasting Co. and the City of Manila, in cooperation with the Philippine Coast Guard, Cobra Energy Drink, Caltex, Eveready, Ginebra San Miguel, Pioneer Epoxy, Filinvest, Silka, M. Lhuillier, Columbia International Foods, Manila Ocean Park, and Briggs and Stratton.
