Matt Ranillo-Napoles connection probed

MANILA, Philippines—Justice Secretary Leila De Lima said they are also investigating the involvement of actor Matt Ranillo in the transactions of pork barrel scam prime suspect Janet Lim-Napoles.

Ranillo was mentioned in the affidavit of possible state witness Ruby Tuason as the person who delivered the P11.970 million to a house in Dasmariñas Village in Makati.

De Lima said since Ranillo was mentioned in the affidavit of Tuason, “that is now being looked into. It is in fact our duty to do that since there are some new information being provided by this new whistleblower.”

De Lima said there are other documents specifically payment vouchers issued by Napoles’ JLN Corporation to Ranillo.
