CASH amounting to P1 million was stolen from the office of a travel agency at Mango Square Mall in Cebu City.

The burglary was discovered on Dec. 30, a holiday marking Jose Rizal’s death. Police said the burglar took the vault containing the cash.

Further investigation will be made to find out how the burglar was able to enter Express Travel Specialist since the mall has several security guards and was equipped with security cameras, said Senior Insp. Lizandro Quijano, chief of the Theft and Robbery Section.
