TECHNICIAN SHOT IN TALISAY

AN ELECTRONIC technician was shot and wounded by a motorcycle-riding gunman in barangay Dumlog, Talisay City, southern Cebu.

Ruel Manseller, 33, was wounded in the right cheek.

The motive of the attack has not been established yet, said police.

Manseller was walking home around 7 p.m. last Wednesday when a backrider of a motorcycle pointed a gun at him. CORRESPONDENT GABRIEL C. BONJOC

SATURATION DRIVES NET 10

AT LEAST 10 persons were arrested in a police saturation drive Wednesday night in separate barangays in Cebu City.

Seven persons who were involved in illegal drug trade were arrested. Policemen also arrested suspected pimps and commercial sex workers

The saturation drive was conducted to locate persons with pending warrant of arrest, said Senior Supt. Melvin Ramon Buenafe, chief of the Cebu City Police Office.. CORRESPONDENT CHITO O. ARAGON
