Men burglarize shabu laboratory
A FORMER shabu laboratory was burglarized by two men while the area’s security guard acted as a lookout in barangay Umapad, Mandaue City, on Sunday.
Orly Montibon, 21 of Opao, and Joel Abraham, 30 of Subangdaku, were cutting the angle bars and collecting scrap metals outside Caps-r Inc. around 7 a.m. when police arrived.
The security guard on duty, Joven Dumagat of AFM security Agency, was in the area when police responded.
Insp. Alexander Nuñez of Mandaue City Police Office told Cebu Daily News they received a burglary alarm in the warehouse.
Nuñez said the 26 pieces of 12-foot angle bars were valued at P85,000.
Nuñez said the area was abandoned after a raid last year, but it still deployed a security guard.
