Peta’s holiday treats

Exciting performances await you this November and December at the Peta Theater Center. Bit by Bit Production presents “Maxie the Musical” at the Peta Phinma Theater, a theatrical adaptation of the award-winning indie film “Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros.”  Shows are 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Nov. 23-24 and 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Nov. 15 and 22.

Then there is the Philippine premiere of “Nanay,” about the lives of overseas Filipino workers under Canada’s Live-In Caregiver Program. In this experimental play, only a maximum of 30 audience members per show will be accommodated   as the audience moves through office cubicles, stairwells and backstage areas to witness multi-media performances and “testimonial” pieces.

Shows are on Nov. 25-30 at 7 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. For music lovers, there is the “Out of Tradition: Bob Aves Jazz Group Concert” on Dec. 11 at 8 p.m.  For inquiries to all three events, contact Ticket World at 8919999 or call the Peta Theater Center at 7256244 loc. 23, 09164376551 or email [email protected].
