Foundation raises P30 million in pledges
THE Aboitiz Foundation has raised a total of P30 million in cash pledges.
Mega star Sharon Cuneta pledged P5 million via Twitter to the foundation, while Union Bank of the Philippines, the Aboitiz group’s banking arm, also pledged P25 million.
In her tweet, the actress said she is giving P5 million through the Aboitiz Foundation and another P5 million to ABC Channel 5’s foundation.
The total pledges will support the foundation’s relief efforts for the victims of typhoon Yolanda.
The Aboitiz Foundation is accepting cash donations through its UShare portal https://ushare.unionbankph.com/aboitiz.
