4 hurt as armed men fire at bus in Zamboanga Sibugay
ZAMBOANGA CITY—Four persons were hurt when unidentified men fired at a passenger bus traversing the highway in the village of Baga in Naga town, Zamboanga Sibugay, on Monday night.
Chief Inspector Ariel Huesca, spokesman of the regional police command, said an undetermined number of armed men sprayed bullets at a passing Rural Transit bus shortly before 9 p.m.
The bus, which left this city at 5 p.m., was en route to Pagadian City.
Wounded were bus driver Ramon Navalta, bus dispatcher Danilo Fuentes and two passengers.—Julie S. Alipala, Inquirer Mindanao
