USC to host national economics quiz and debate contests
THE University of San Carlos Carolinian Economics Society (USC-CarES) will host this year’s National Economics Quiz Contest and the National Economics Debate Contest Visayas Elimination Rounds on Nov. 9 at the USC main campus on P. del Rosario St., Cebu City.
These two events will gather Economics students from the different universities in the Visayas.
The participating universities are Silliman University in Dumaguete City, Eastern Visayas State University in Tacloban City, University of St. La Salle in Bacolod City and USC.
The national economics quiz and debate contests are organized by the Junior Philippine Economics Society.
The winners of the quiz and the debate for Visayas elimination rounds will represent their respective schools in the final bout in Manila on January 2014 together with the winners from other parts of the country.
