3 hurt in Makati road accident

MANILA, Philippines – Three people were hurt in a road accident in Makati City, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said Friday morning.

The injured were brought to the Ospital ng Makati following the 7:41 a.m. multiple collision involving a bus, an FX and an Elf truck along the southbound lane of the emergency bay along Edsa Buendia, said Vanessa Vasquez of the MMDA Metrobase.

She said the area was cleared at 8:18 a.m.

Meanwhile, another accident, involving two buses, occurred on the southbound lane of the Ortigas flyover at around 8:30 a.m. although no one was reported hurt in this accident, said Vasquez.
