Medical-dental mission for Cebu City residents

The SM Foundation Inc., with the participation of Watsons Philippines, will hold a two-day free medical and dental mission for the residents of Cebu City on Oct. 23 and 24.

This year’s medical and dental mission, which is headed by SM Foundation Inc. executive director Connie Angeles, aims to serve more than 2,000 beneficiaries, including senior citizens.

The Department of Social Welfare and Services (DSWS) in Cebu City has pre-selected the barangays registering high incidence of communicable diseases as the beneficiaries.

The Cebu City Medical Center, Philippine Academy of Family Physicians, Cebu City Health Department and Watsons will provide doctors and nurses for the medical and dental mission, while the Philippine Red Cross and Kapwa Ko Mahal Ko Foundation Inc. will provide volunteers.

The SM Foundation medical and dental mission will happen from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the covered parking of SM City Cebu.
