THE DEFENDING champions University of the Visayas (UV) will be aiming for yet another crown in the Passerelle division of the Milo-backed BEST Twin Tournament as it battles the University of San Carlos (USC) Baby Warriors in the finals of the Cebu leg of the competition tonight at the City Sports Club-Cebu.
The 7:15 p.m. battle is a rematch of last year’s Cebu finals, which was eventually won by UV.
Article continues after this advertisementThis encounter was made possible after UV bested Don Bosco, 54-30, and USC downed the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC), 58-48, in their respective semifinal games.
UV will be leaning on the talents of the sharpshooting Theo Flores and stocky guard Orlan Wamar while USC will be banking on Scott Aying./Correspondent Jonas Panerio
