DIMINUTIVE guard Eman Monfort continued to give Barako Bull a big lift, conniving forces with import Michael Singletary to lead the Energy Colas to a 103-94 win over the Air21 Express last night in the 38th PBA Governors’ Cup at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Coming off a career-game in their 90-89 win over the Meralco Bolts last week, the 5-foot-6 Monfort stepped up late in the game, hitting a big three-pointer that practically sealed the win for the Energy Colas.

Air21 trailed by as many as 22 points but came surging back in the closing minutes and threatened at 94-92.
