Fire hits residential, commercial establishments in Manila
MANILA, Philippine – Fire hit residential and commercial establishments separately in Manila Tuesday although both have been put out, officials said.
Senior Fire Officer 2 Romel Lorenzo said the blaze struck an undetermined number of houses at Maginoo Street in Tondo around 11 a.m.
It reached first alarm before it was put out some 30 minutes later.
In Binondo, fire razed a five-story commercial building in Quintin Paredes Street, reached third alarm before it was put out at 10:50 a.m., Fire Officer 3 Owen Ferrera of the Bureau of Fire-National Capital Region said.
No one was reported hurt in the two incidents.
