Kristine needs help to pay for her chemotherapy sessions

Kristine Jewel Ancheta is undergoing chemotherapy treatment (10-cycle) at the Philippine General Hospital for acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

Her mother, Joyce Ann Pepito, of Barangay Hulong Duhat, Malabon City, told the Inquirer that the entire therapy period for her daughter would cost her and partner, Maynard Ancheta, P93,000.

“Although she has finished four sessions already with the help of friends and relatives, Maynard and I are both jobless and are unable to fund the remaining sessions,” Pepito said, adding that the bone marrow checkup alone every six months would cost them P12,000.
