Experts to help entrepreneurs compete in Asean single market
Eight local and international experts will share their expertise this month to help prepare local entrepreneurs for 2015 Asean Economic Community (AEC).
The Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) has invited these experts for the MCCI Business Summit 2013 on August 16.
The experts invited will talk about branding, managing business, inclusive growth, policies for growth, technology and other relevant topics that will help entrepreneurs compete when the AEC 2015 comes into effect, said MCCI vice president Stanley Go during a briefing last Friday.
“The topics of the speakers during the summit will hopefully help entrepreneurs learn what should be done as early as now to prepare themselves for the opportunities and challenges in the AEC 2015, which includes having an Asean single market,” said Go, who is also the summit chairman.
Peter Limqueco, summit co-chairman, said the summit would be a whole-day affair at the Cebu International Convention Center (CICC), which is one of the highlights of this year’s Mandaue Business Month celebration, with the theme “Engaging Change: Be Fit. Be Connected. Be Ahead.”
