/ 07:55 AM July 26, 2013

CEBU City Mayor Michael Rama is leaving for Japan on Monday to observe the operation of a retirement facility by a private firm there and determine the viability of operating a similar facility at the South Road Properties (SRP).

Rama said he will be traveling with SRP manager Roberto “Bo” Varquez and former councilor Jose Daluz III.

“It’s been made part of my State of the City address to make Cebu City into a retirement hub,” he said.
