MANILA, Philippines — Two persons were injured when the closed van they were riding slammed onto a wall of the Metro Railway Transit-Magallanes station before it fell on its side at the southbound lane along EDSA in Makati early Wednesday, a city traffic investigator said.

Senior Police Officer 1 Malou Imtaya of Makati traffic division identified the wounded as Elbert Tingal and Dennis Bozar who were onboard a Mitsubishi Camper closed van (TSU 703) driven by Jose Navarro. The two sustained minor injuries while Navarro was unhurt.
