Cebu City school gets hand washing station materials

SUNLIFE Financial Philippines donated sinks and other materials needed to complete the hand washing station of Tejero Elementary School in barangay Tejero, Cebu City.

At least 3,500 school pupils will benefit from the project.

Sunlife, a stakeholder of the school, also gave out four toilet bowls and five gallons of white enamel paints for the grades I and IV classrooms.

School principal Nicomedes Tijap said he was overwhelmed by the support given by Sunlife.

Previously, Sunlife distributed 500 school bags, notebooks, writing pads and other school supplies to the grade 1 pupils.

Around 25 of its employees also joined in the Department of Education’s “Brigada Eskwela” by cleaning the school’s classrooms in preparation for the opening of classes.
