5 alleged drug traders arrested in Laguna
MANILA, Philippines – Five alleged drug traders were arrested, and about P70,000-worth of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride were confiscated following a raid in separate houses in Laguna before dawn Wednesday, police said.
Chief Superintendent Benito Estipona, Calabarzon police director, identified the suspects as Roberto Alingarog “Obet” Dausin , Nilo “Kanie” Bolante Banca, Jerry “Champoy” Herradura Perico, Ardiano “RJ” Baldemero Laraño, and Jerol Ramos Laraño.
Estipona said the operation was conducted at Barangay (village) San Roque, Victoria, Laguna around 4:30 a.m. by virtue of search warrants issued by Judge Agripino Morga of San Pablo City regional trial court.
Confiscated from the suspects were a total of 107 sachets of shabu, and a deck, as well as assorted drug paraphernalia.
The suspects are temporarily detained at the Laguna Provincial Police Office.
