Gendrauli helps Cignal win over petron

FORMER Southwestern University ace lady spiker Danika Gendrauli had a stellar debut in the Philippine Super Liga as she helped push Cignal past Petron, 25-22, 25-17, 25-23, yesterday at the Philsports Arena.

Gendrauli, a pillar of the Lady Cobras squad that dominated the Cesafi tournament for many years before being dethroned recently by the University of San Carlos, had 12 points, that helped the HD Spikers complete the sweep.

Former UAAP MVP Venus Bernal paced the winners with 17 points while Honey Tubino  added 11.
