SENIOR Supt, Mariano Natu-el Jr., the outgoing chief of the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO), distributed school bags to some pupils in barangay Sibugay.

Natu-el said the distribution of at least 100 school bags and other school supplies in Sibugay Integrated School was one of his projects as CCPO chief.

Natu-el said he chose Sibugay Integrated School as the beneficiary of the project after learning from his men that there were some pupils there who didn’t have school bags.

“Nalipay ko (I’m happy),) said May, a grade two pupil.

Jessica Sabla-on, the school principal, thanked Natu-el for choosing the school as recipient of the school supplies.

Natu-el said if given more time to stay longer at CCPO, he will conduct similar activities but Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama has already decided to replace Natu-el with Senior Supt. Noli Romana.    /CORRESPONDENT CHITO O. ARAGON
