Thieves break into Pangasinan town exec’s house

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – Thieves broke into the house of a councilor in San Jacinto, Pangasinan, early Monday, carting away electronic gadgets worth P50,000, police said.
Councilor Rosalie Ellasus, 53, lost two mobile phones worth P30,000 and a camera worth P20,000 when the suspects broke into her house in Barangay (village) Sta. Maria in San Jacinto town at 1 a.m.
Police said the thieves entered the house after removing four jalousie blades from a window.
Ellasus, who was reelected last month, will sit, in a temporary capacity, in the provincial board as representative of the provincial chapter of the Philippine Councilors’ League.
