A police official filed a string of charges against a Korean dive shop owner who allegedly assaulted him after he tried to pacify the foreigner who was allegedly beating up a fellow Korean in barangay Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City.

Senior Insp. Rogelio Pineda Jr. filed complaints for alarm and scandal, resisting arrest, drunkeness and physical injury against Yoo Kwan Hong, 50, general director of Ju-il Philippines Corp. situated at Dolgorae Imperial Palace Marine Center in barangay Agus, Lapu-Lapu City.

Pineda, chief of the intelligence division of the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office (LLCPO), filed the multiple complaints with the Lapu-Lapu City Prosecutors’ Office yesterday afternoon.

Pineda and the other policeman subdued the Korean, who was later handcuffed and brought by operatives of the Mobile Patrol Group to the police precinct.
