DEDON, a furniture manufacturing company in barangay Canduman, Mandaue City, led employees in the school cleanup to prepare its adopted school, Canduman Elementary School, for the opening of classes.

The activity was in line with the Department of Education’s Brigada Eskwela program.

Last May 25, Dedon, together with the 30 members of Dedon Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative (Demco) headed by corporate affairs officer May Aldemita, corporate relations assistant Flobelle Cabije and production manager and Demco chairman Florindo de Castro trooped to Canduman Elementary School to repaint the school’s front wall, gate and fence grill.

“The school cleanup is a prelude to more activities scheduled this year to help the school and the children,” De Castro said.
