Talisay police donate school supplies

TALISAY City policemen led by Supt. Elmer Lim donated school supplies to the Grade 3 pupils of Linao Elementary School in barangay Linao, Talisay City.

Aside from school supplies received by 60 Grade 3 pupils, the policemen also turned over footpaths and sacks of cement to the school for classroom construction.

Lim said the donation was made possible through the help of non-government organizations and other stakeholders.

He said the school lacks classrooms and teachers as well as clean water for the students to drink. “Mubalik pa unya mi para sa dugang tabang sa paghimo ug classroom (We will go back to give more assistance for the building of classroom),” Lim said.

Maximo Carin, school principal, thanked for the police officials for their generosity.

Carin said he hoped the policemen would continue helping not just their school, but also other schools.
