Tesda-NegOr sets up info desk at Robinsons
THE Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) Negros Oriental has established an information desk at the second floor of Robinsons Place in Dumaguete City for easier access of information on Tesda services.
Tesda information officer Geraldine delos Reyes said Tesda and Robinson’s Land Corp. inked a memorandum of agreement recently for the establishment of Tesda information desks inside Robinson malls across the country.
The Tesda information desk will entertain queries on the agency’s services, which include its courses offered, current programs and projects, schedules of competency assessment and job fairs, among others.
The agreement also provides an opportunity for Tesda to promote its e-learning training program or the Tesda Online Program (TOP) and the Tesda Specialista Technopreneurship Program.
The TOP is Tesda’s initiatives on promoting Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) program and job generation.
It provides computer instructions online over the public internet, private distance learning networks or in-house via an intranet for free.
